It's a marathon(Well at least 3/4 of one) not a sprint. If you pretended Woking were your opponents every match you would of had the league title wrapped up by now!
3 losses in a row wo uld suggest they’re tumbling big time particularly if 4 are going down but this time it’s an illness that will save them after Gateshead saving them!
January time I was reasonably confident we would pass you at some point in the run-in as we seemed to be on an upward trajectory while you couldnt seem to buy a win from anywhere.
Since then though you have strengthened and found a way to put the points on the board, we seemed to believe 46 points was enough and took our foot off the pedal. Failure to replace loan players and injuries in key positions have cost us badly in terms of position and morale. We've been without a RB and LB for half a dozen games now, and still no out and out striker, but Searle continues to persevere with those who are not ticking the boxes.
If (big if) the game goes ahead next week, I would expect you to be favourites, and although our home form is, in the main good, I can see Woking taking the points.
Whatever happens with this season, it seems that your management team have a little more nouse than ours and can dig out results with a motivated squad, we are all "fits and starts" and "2 steps forward 3 steps back". I like Searle and hope he gets more time, but he is clearly still learning and still makes some absolute clangers tactically, but he will improve, and hopefully next season will see a top half finish, but for now we aren't at that level of consistency and this is why, however, and whenever the season finishes, Woking will rightfully be above Aldershot in the standings.
You can keep this Searle fella. Think hes the brother of the vloger (internet troll) Loudmouth from Barnet. (Its the fake cockney accent thing).
Dowse is bloody good. I feel for you blokes. Woking will survive......aldershot wont.
Think promotion/relegation. Imagine clubs demoted with nine or more games to save themselves.
Chances are if it does end, everything will be null and void, and the same 24 start 20/21.

even if we start again in April we have players on contract til 25th April and that's it. Don't assume they will all want to play for us past that date, so what sort of team could we field even
I think its done and as Mr T eluded to in another thread the short term financial future of WFC should take priority over us finishing 11th or 8th
I think the horrible reality is that all players/staff will have to be released as soon as possible and clubs will have to hibernate until there is a start date for next season, unless benefactors start throwing in money.
Even if the season is voided there will probably be many movements as clubs shuffle up to fill the gaps left by clubs that inevitably go pop. When football restarts it will be very different.
