You do realise that Goldsmiths is not in Commercial Way right? It's in the Peacocks.
Memories of the past, visions of the future.

The address for Woking Shopping Centre (which seems to be the name Peacocks/Wolsey Place goes under these days) is Commercial Way

Re: Woking Community Stadium - Come See Our Plans
Has anyone got any idea of what these 'revised plans' are ?
Re: Woking Community Stadium - Come See Our Plans
The (slightly) cocky answer would be come and see !Reading Card wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 11:06 amHas anyone got any idea of what these 'revised plans' are ?
Trust members will get a look see tonight and there is then tomorrow in the town which is open to all; there may well be an email to Trust members. Basically, as is to be expected, the revisions are responding to the comments and questions from fans and the consultations
Once plans are submitted there will be a lot at home games and available to all I am sure
Having had a glimpse personally I think they are very exciting for both club and community

Re: Woking Community Stadium - Come See Our Plans
I asked if they would be put on the 'stadium' website as obviously we live 55 miles away... I was told 'watch this space' - so I'm watching...Reading Card wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 11:06 amHas anyone got any idea of what these 'revised plans' are ?

I was told about tonight on Tuesday at the game and haven't seen an email for it.Nico wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 12:06 pmThe (slightly) cocky answer would be come and see !Reading Card wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 11:06 amHas anyone got any idea of what these 'revised plans' are ?

Stoo, I’ve just forwarded it to what I think is your work address for you. Pass on to skippy if you have his email.
Re: Woking Community Stadium - Come See Our Plans
I thought it was too much of a coincidence!
Cheers mate, see you later.
Re: Woking Community Stadium - Come See Our Plans
Then I will check the Trust have the correct email for me and they're not sending it to my defunct trust email.
I'd checked my junk folders after Tuesday just in case.

Re: Woking Community Stadium - Come See Our Plans
There's not massive differences in the stadium plans, one of the concession areas is now proposed as a medical centre.
They've changed the floodlights from columns to gantries on the side roofs.
There's been some tweaking of the layouts but not much.
Most of the changes are to the resi scheme.

Hmmm the football management won’t be happy with the change in location of the floodlights.skippy wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:11 pmThere's not massive differences in the stadium plans, one of the concession areas is now proposed as a medical centre.

On the weekly catchup, David mentions that now only 4% of the new build is above ten stories high. That's a big change.

Re: Woking Community Stadium - Come See Our Plans
Annoying if we don’t have proper floodlights considering we have them currently
Re: Woking Community Stadium - Come See Our Plans
No it isn't, that's a bit of presenting of facts in the best light.Chobham Card wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 3:18 pmOn the weekly catchup, David mentions that now only 4% of the new build is above ten stories high. That's a big change.
4% of the whole site is 10 storeys, well a lot of the site consists of a football pitch, roads, etc.
The residential build only makes up 23% of the site, so over 15% of the residential development is 10 storeys.
This is a reduction because previously about 20% of the resi was 10 storeys+

Re: Woking Community Stadium - Come See Our Plans
Could the new stadium plan brochure that Dowse is showing in the catchup video today be made available somewhere as a downloadable pdf so that those of us who are not local can see all of the plan in detail.

This. Astonished it's not available via the club site given its importance. Happy to help if needed.trevorinottawa wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 10:36 pmCould the new stadium plan brochure that Dowse is showing in the catchup video today be made available somewhere as a downloadable pdf so that those of us who are not local can see all of the plan in detail.

The club and floodlights are secondary to what WBC wants. Lets not hope for too much
Still Plugging away in the absence of the great one
