Nathan Baxter playing for Ross County against Celtic this afternoon. Saved a Ryan Christie penalty early on, only for Christie to score the rebound.

Ian Holloway has been appointed manager of Grimsby Town, which means AL steps down as caretaker manager. His record was LLDLDLDD, GD -8. He was appointed on November 19th, and Grimsby didn't score until Boxing Day.

Jack Marriott is playing with Wayne Rooney tonight, he has missed five sitters, including two one on ones.
Derby fans have a song for him: "Swing low, Jack Marriott".

Louis Theophanous signs for Romford, and they say it’s about the glory and not the money.

Worth noting that Glen Rea's start for Luton against Bournemouth yesterday was his first start for the club in 54 weeks, and that he finished wearing the captain's armband.

Presumably we're about to get into silly season again given that Dowse wants a big squad shakeup and we've got two weeks without a game. So:

Josh Payne's loan to Ebbsfleet has been extended until the end of the season, when he's out of contract.

Lazar Stojsavljevic remains a free agent, having been released by Newport County in September.

Louie Theophanous has joined Jason Banton and the Tamplin Revolution at Romford. (Hell on earth.)
