I can only assume that R&WA didn’t include Eastleigh when he did the original post cos they weren’t in it, although they certainly are now.

I also missed a game for Wealdstone in my original post. They are also playing this Wednesday

Yeah - I’ve always thought Eastleigh would be OK until last Saturday. In the unlikely event they beat Barnet tomorrow, they’ll be fine.

Haven’t included Wealdstone as they only need 5 points from 11 matches and 1 of them is against Oxford.

Yet they beat Chesterfield!

It's a funny old game.

Kiddie's are similar. York's are tough as well.

interesting fixtures there, and as has been said above some of those below us have some horror fixtures, but as I have said elsewhere, nothing can be taken for granted when it comes to results in this league

It will all become a little clearer after the Easter games, by which time we will hopefully be safe

Interesting that no-one from the bottom 6 plays each other between now and the end of the season.

Even the happiest clappers thought we'd be down a few weeks ago.

Full time at Ebbsfleet has actually worked out well for us...

6 will definitely do it.
I think 4 will do it.

There's now just so many teams involved in it that the likelihood of all of them getting to 51 seems far fetched. If the 21-23 placed team's games go to form this weekend, then you're looking at York getting 9 from 5, Kiddy 10 from 5 and Dorking 10 from 6 to pass 51 (our goal difference makes me think we're worth another point)

When you look at both form, the lack of clean sheets and the home/away games, Boreham Wood must be shitting their pants.

Last update of the season:

Dorking Wanderers (42 points) Bromley (H), Aldershot (A), Altrincham (H), Wealdstone (A), Rochdale (A), Hartlepool (H)
Average 9.3
Playoff 2
Top Half 4
Bottom Half 2

Kidderminster Harriers (43) Altrincham (H), Chesterfield (A), Halifax (H), Eastleigh (H), Barnet (A)
Average 7.2
Playoff 3
Top Half 4
Bottom Half 1

Boreham Wood (44) D&R (H), Southend (A), Wealdstone (H), Rochdale (A), Aldershot (A), Ebbsfleet (H)
Average 11.8
Playoff 1
Top Half 4
Bottom Half 2

Maidenhead United (45) Aldershot (H), Eastleigh (A), Barnet (H), Hartlepool (H), Gateshead (H), Chesterfield (A)
Average 6.4
Playoff 4
Top Half 4
Bottom Half 1

York City (46) Chesterfield (H), Halifax (A), Eastleigh (H), WOKING (H), Solihull (A)
Average 9.0
Playoff 3
Top Half 3
Bottom Half 2

Eastleigh (47) WOKING (A), Maidenhead (H), York (A), Kiddie (A), Wealdstone (A), Halifax (H)
Average 16.5
Playoff 1
Top Half 1
Bottom Half 5

Ebbfsleet (47) Halifax (A), Southend (H), D&R (A), Fylde (H), Solihull (A), Altrincham (H), BW (A)
Average 10.9
Playoff 2
Top Half 5
Bottom Half 2

Woking (48) Eastleigh (H), Bromley (A), D&R (H), York (A), Fylde (H)
Average 13.0
Playoff 1
Top Half 2
Bottom Half 3

- Dorking probably need 3 wins from their 6 remaining games. Even that may not be enough considering their GD.
- Kiddy probably need 8 points from their remaining 5 games. And they have to play Barnet and Chesterfield away.
- If we lose at home to Eastleigh on Friday, it all becomes a bit nervy again especially with Bromley away on Monday. Win and we're pretty much safe.
- Eastleigh v Maidenhead on easter monday is potentially a huge game.

Oxford relegation now confirmed so only 3 remaining spots to consider.

Of the teams below us at the start of the weekend only York picked up 3 points - many lost and are now a further point behind us with one fewer games left to play - one more win should be enough

Well exactly. With respect to our survival, this does not merit over-analysis.

If we can go it on Good Friday, so much the better.

Getting there with 3 draws in our last 5 games would be somewhat more painful.

In the unlikely event that we went from 14 points in 7 games to a mere 2 in the last 5, we deserve to go down...

It's surely going to be a great final day of the season with all the relegation drama. As long as we don't need anything and can watch the chaos unfold.

Still feels like a win and a draw would be the comfortable number to me... Wouldn't want to risk relying on any less and might even need 5 from 5 still.

1 more win will take us to 51 points

looking at the fixtures of the others down there, and the form that some of them are on, I genuinely cant see 3 other teams getting to that mark

As crazy as a league that it is, it will be only tomorrow night that we wont be able to get into the POs

One final thought... if 4 of Oxford, Dorking, Ebbsfleet, Eastleigh or Maidenhead go down there's gonna be a ridiculously southern team in the Conference North next season. Probably even worse than Bishop's Stortford.

I would imagine if York and Kidderminster survive and its 4 southern teams that get relegated, Oxford will be in the Northern league next year.

as for who else goes into that league, who knows. It may be one of the promoted teams from the league below

Stortford have been relegated from the North already which probably adds to the problem if they were the most northern of the south. I'd think Braintree will be heading north and as you say maybe others based on those possibly going down from the NL.

awwww don't be bitter. I'd like them to make the play offs. Maybe not win it but make it. My real thought regarding them making the play off and IF
they by some chance won them. And TBH other that Chesterfield who are now gone... any of the top 15 on their day could win it. My real thought regarding them making the play off and IF they by some chance won them. IS HOW WOULD SHAHID FINANCE div 2?
