Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022
The former Wrexham and Southend United player, who arrived in South Somerset following his release by the North Wales side in the summer, made it perfectly clear he was not happy to hear the opening goal credited to Jordan Maguire-Drew after he headed home the play-maker’s cross.
It had appeared (from the Thatcher’s Stand at least) that Maguire-Drew’s effort had gone directly in, but Hyde was in no doubt that he had got a touch.
He said: “For me it was very clear. All the boys celebrated with me, it was a cross and a header, there is absolutely no clarification needed. It was very frustrating to hear another name announced because I didn’t even think it was in question."
“Four minutes into your debut for a football club and you score a goal, that gives you confidence. Jordan who crossed it ran over to me and it was not even up for debate, so very disappointing that they got it wrong.

From this article ,

It looks like he would have trained with Chelsea and expected game time at Woking . It was an odd one he never was given game time .

It's crazy they allow artificial pitches when some players are getting medical advice not to.Adrian wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2023 10:09 amDave Tarpey, interesting reason for his loan.

Hadn't seen that. Hope he makes a full recovery. Not every Woking fan's favourite player, but I loved Inih at Woking (both times) and wouldn't be at all upset if he was still with us.
Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022
Also wishing Inih best wishes.

TBF to Moussa I hope it works out for him.
His behaviour during halftime at Barnet was a great example of the friendships football can bring people.
Chatting to the Woking support, happy to have pictures taken with young fans.
A top bloke.
Some interesting conversations will be had.

I believe Glenn's highlighting a rather valid criticism of Dowse (that his contact book contains a lot of the same names), rather than Moussa.
Agree completely about Moussa. Didn't work out for him at the end of his time at the club, but he made an incredible effort with our supporters.

Yes, that was indeed what made me chuckle. No issue with Moussa at all, on the contrary enjoyed him during his time with us.Nonsense Potter wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 11:58 amI believe Glenn's highlighting a rather valid criticism of Dowse (that his contact book contains a lot of the same names), rather than Moussa.
