H&W train 3 days a week plus match days.Nonsense Potter wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 5:36 pmPleased for Ross and Joe. A little surprised that Joe didn’t go to another CN team, but maybe part time is what works for him now. Best of luck to both of them, aside from two league games for Rossy and potentially a cup game for Joe.
Good luck to both of them.
Two years for Joe is a good deal.
Some interesting conversations will be had.

Him and Murphy should rip up NLS assuming they stay fit

Gwynne Berry nowadaysNonsense Potter wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 5:03 pmSpoke to Gwynne Berry this morning. Still looks very similar to his time at the club around 29 years ago. Very complimentary about the club and still gets back when he can.

Yeovil spent quite a lot of last season without a qualified physio. With Rhys Murphy and Hyde both having signed, they'll certainly need one next season.

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022
But if it wasn’t, isn’t it a breach of contract to refuse to play in 20% of matches?

So a refusal to work and being able to demonstrate previous H&S issues on such pitches would not put a player in a position where they have breached their contract.
Presumably Yeovil took this in consideration?
Some interesting conversations will be had.

I assume they must have taken it in to consideration. But playing football in general is a health and safety issue and you can’t really just pick and choose which matches you play in.Adrian wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 6:56 pmThe employer has a duty of care in regards to the health and safety of its employees.Red and White Army wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 6:29 pmI know it was probably discussed during their contract negotiations with Hyde.

If I was Yeovil manager I certainly wouldn’t be signing someone who automatically can’t play in 20% of matches and will probably be injured for 30% of the other matches.
But it doesn’t surprise me from a team who have been relegated 4 times in about 10 seasons.

Good chance of taking him bk on loan if circumstances allow for both sides hopefully. Absolutely loved Gwynne Berry, I ran the length of Welling U pitch to celebrate his last minute equaliser one season. Used to head straight for the hair on the final whistle pitch invasions. He always recognised and acknowledged a few of us kids. I’m sure there will be plenty of League 1 and Championship clubs interested in Baxter
