So who expected Tunji Akinola to be our hero? (Yeah I know a draw would have done)

Just occurred to me that our generosity to York last week kept them up and binned off Boringwood. I’m pretty happy about that. We were generous enough to give away 6 points to them both. I’d rather Ebbsfleet had done down than Boreham Wood although not too fussed. Please please can Braintree not co...

There is no problem with the reserved seats in the LGS, the problem arises on games where migration is allowed. I have a ticket for Moaners, sometimes I fancy a sit down and pick one of the non reserved seats in the LGS. So far so good, but then someone on line or at the gate might well have bought...

Has anyone got a definitive list of who is already under contract for next season? Yes, but you won't like it. Dan Moss Reece Grego-Cox Lewis Walker Rohan Ince Alfie Pavey Josh Smith Charley Kendall Matt Robinson Club option on Rhys Browne. Not exactly the best place to start from. Given the choice...

Really enjoyed that. Maybe only the 2nd home game this season where we were comfortable and could enjoy the last 15 minutes without worry.
Feels like it’s been agesss since we’ve had the last game of the regular season at home without playoffs etc.

I think Boreham Wood will win but we’ll get at least a draw. If that happens… 3 of the promoted teams will have gone down from the NL (Fylde the exception) The 2 relegated to the NLS could come straight back up (Yeovil guaranteed, Maidstone playoffs) 1 relegated to the NLN could come straight back u...

But the alternative argument is Ramsgate draw derby at home then ‘Nick a point’. You’re more likely to win on pens and then get the prize money and a bigger team in R2 than win a replay. Which would result in more money overall. One thing I don’t get - they might as well scrap replays in the qualif...

Well yeah - obviously that statement about the magic is bollocks. It reminds me of Gary Lineker tweeting “the FA Cup should start earlier, not in JANUARY.” He was politely reminded the completion actually starts in August. Then he said “As I said, earlier or rounds played more frequently. The prelim...

As always, the desperate attempts to pacify the Premier League clubs ends up with the smaller clubs getting shat on. Forget L1/L2 for a minute. Imagine you're a Horsham, a Ramsgate (don't know why those two came into my head) and you draw Derby at home then nick a point. You want the replay right? ...

Protected the club and didn’t spend money offered during the COVID season - this was confirmed by Rosemary. This was one of his best decisions. There was zero point of spending any money during a season where there was no relegation. I bet most other managers would have spent the money though.

Which other season did we make a profit apart from 18/19?
The one where we didn't win for 40 something games. He kept us up on about £250K budget.
The COVID season? I could have kept us up on a £1 budget that season.
Was that a Garry Hill "£250k budget" or a £250k budget?

Where’s the proof he made the club ‘an absolute fortune’? There’s no doubt he was a very honest, hard working very pleasant man but running a few laps for charity, charming the local greengrocer and butcher and then getting in with a local publican doesn’t quite equate to ‘fortunes’. The club needs...

It certainly won't be a boring final weekend of the season in our division. There are still 5 teams in the running for that remaining relegation place. If Oldham win at Halifax tomorrow then 4 teams will be battling it out for the final play-off position. The other play-off positions are so close t...

We need to match or better Borehamwood’s result. A draw works for us if Ebbsfleet lose. A win and we’re safe regardless. It has the feel, smell and taste of the Telford game under Cockerill all those years ago. A draw works for us regardless as Bwood and Ebbsfleet can’t both get to 53 points.

So by my calculations it’s down to one of:
Us: draw OR Bwood fail to win and we stay up (unless we lose 5-0)
Ebbsfleet: draw and they stay up
Boreham Wood: win and they stay up
It’s very very very helpful having those two playing each other on the final day.

For us EXp's - I hear that NLTV may not be streaming next season. Who could have predicted that it wasn't sustainable without Wrexham! Pretty sure only exiles and Waffles denied this. Seems odd that the National League bent over backwards for Reynolds & Co. Even structuring the fees so the away tea...

Dorking want £325 for theirs next season. Puts ours in perspective. I've got a year left of my 5 year season ticket but £249 good value if I had to buy one
Is this the last year of the five years? I have lost track….
I think there’s 2 left (next season and the one after).

Why would I enjoy a piss poor performance at York after driving for 9 hours? Why would I enjoy potentially having to spend another season in the Pub League South? Is that your default response to any criticism of a poor performance? Or are you annoyed you declared us safe after Dagenham? What is yo...
