Re: Jake Hyde

Not fussed either way , but good physicality for this league. I think Jake is as good as we can hope to get up front. We looked a much better team with a physical threat up front when he played. With dodgy knees I don't think he'll get a full time contract, especially at 30. I thought in his interv...

Re: Financial Controller opportunity

It’s a massive shame that Rosemary has had to come on here and make it clear that another of Jon’s claims are false. It’s also a shame that he doesn’t have the class to apologise for a number of misplaced claims about one of the club’s most valuable volunteers. Aside from volunteering in the progra...

Re: When could/ should the new season start?

It depends on how today goes. If Super Saturday causes a second wave then we're all f***ed. If it doesn't then let's get it on.

Re: Financial Controller opportunity

Good luck to whoever takes on the role. We've certainly got a great bunch at the club now.

Re: Financial Controller opportunity

I think you’ll find it is a witch hunt Jon. You’re the only person who repeatedly complains about Jon Davies, often completely out of the blue. If you’re blaming Paul for the sale of the tennis centre as well, without understanding what went on, you’re just extending the witch hunt and you’re being...

Re: Financial Controller opportunity

I’d rather he did. He’s had an issue (that he doesn’t understand) with Jon Davies for years, but naming Paul Elmer (who I personally think has given up more time as a volunteer for the club than anyone I can think of, over a huge number of years) is just out of order. That is fair comment. There is...

Anyone with the surname Davis or Elmer need not apply, there's nothing left to sell off!

Re: Planning committee outcome

I don't want a 10,000 seater box, have you been to Halifax? Closed stands, no atmosphere. Away fans distantly heard singing, 'your ground's too big for you'.

Keep the character and let's just take it one stand at a time.

Re: Planning committee outcome

Both quality and away support are significantly better in league 2; it may have been fun winning more in Conf south but the football was dreadful! I can’t and will never understand any fan who doesn’t want their club to play at the highest league possible. Clubs that are satisfied with their lot, s...

Couple of things

- does this mean David Lloyd doesn't move to Egley Road now?
- where do I find Jon Woozely's magic money tree?
WBC may help, sports grants? Supporter debentures.... that's for someone to look into.

Re: Planning committee outcome

At the risk of being unpopular I think that is a victory for common sense. Give me an organically grown stadium with character, with the KRE, the LGS & Moaners over a featureless box any day. All of those influencers who would have benefitted from the development can move on. It sounds like the club...

42 goals last season, released by Kings Lynn, part time player, surely one to go in for?
He's put himself in the shop window, "I'm not going to say I'm not going to sign but I'm just going to see what comes about." NLP.

Is that even English?

Re: Stevenage relegated

Just to play a sort of devil's advocate; what would Cards fans think to be relegated with a game in hand over Macclesfield, only three points behind, and 10 to play? That's pretty much a quarter of the season, give or take a decimal point. Not unhappy with the relegation; but knee-jerk decisions fr...

Well done Agent Carter. Despite too many goals.
