The football club could have opened the gate if they asked. There is an appropriately named terrace just behind them they could stand on for their team photo!
and opened the cafe for them to make a few quid for the club πŸ‘Œ

I also know a couple of people who have season tickets who haven't been to a match yet. I was told "around the 1200 mark" just before the season started.

so if there is absolutely no chance of having any other bars put up around the ground why not use the fosters shack that was made purely for the purpose of reducing queues??? (and obviously rename it and serve proper drinks)

Re: Beer

As for Moaners Cafe you would have to erect screens around it blocking off any sight of the pitch to enable alcohol to be served from it. Yes I realised there needs to be screening after I'd posted that... just do what the likes of Maidenhead do and shove up a few 6ft fence panels creating a barrie...

Joking aside about 'seafare gate' and the invisible bottle bar etc maybe with the apparently imminent groundshare move the club just dont feel its worth spending money on the existing food/drink outlets. The bar queue situation is quite ridiculous. We must lose so much money on it. And we know we never seem to have any of that so the club must surely be looking at a solution
obviously the demand (and profit margin) for kids tattoos is far higher than that of a bottle barπŸ˜‹
