I believe Browne has an option on his contract anyway. He could extend it at any time if he wanted to.
Surely it’s our option to extend it, not his?
That's what I thought too.

Re: Tuesday thoughts & MDs Record so far

There have been mentions recently that Browne may re-appear soon, he’s turned up recently in his training gear in group shots of the team. Cue for him during our last couple of games ripping it up with Liam Enver-Marum style “contract form” 🔥 🔥 🔥 and another two year deal. I believe Browne has an o...

The reference was completely around their newer fans claiming they're the biggest club in Surrey when they've only been the biggest club in Mole Valley for about five minutes.

Re: Match Thread Southend Utd A

I’ve been impressed with Odusina every time I have seen him play. His error at Ramsgate felt a bit like Will's mistakes at Oxford - much bigger than they actually were. Looked to hit his confidence too. I thought he was our best player Vs Barnet and I fully agree that this formation brings out the ...

Re: Dorking

Not that they've done anything wrong, but I get really strong Staines vibes from Dorking. I can imagine they'd have a "band" made up of old blokes who look like sex pests and teenagers with mega bumfluff. One of them will claim to have overtaken Woking, before going back to supporting his PL club wi...

Re: currently watching

Keeps Wealdstone in the relegation battle for now. Huge game for them at home to Kiddy on Saturday. If Wealdstone stay up, they're in serious trouble next season. Part of the reason Maynard left was because they can't sustain their current budget and expect an exodus of players this coming summer. ...

Re: Since Ian Dyer

He always looked a spare part once Ben Turner was brought in. It’s just football, my only issue was the wording of the announcement. Not just that - Cuthbert officially joined the coaching team before Doyle arrived too. No offence to Dyer, who clearly worked well for the vast majority of his time w...

Re: Do you enjoy football?

Tuesday nights, under lights; important game, big crowd; cold; close game, ball on deck; late winner. Can’t beat it. I'd say the same, but the bloke I sit next to is so negative that it ruins it! The odds of ever replicating how I felt when we equalised at West Brom (then the second, then the third...

Re: Players signed for next season

This thread makes really scary reading. Our risks with injury prone players haven't worked out at all. Really not that bothered about keeping many TBH. Neither keeper is really good enough. Would keep Cuthbert. Not sure about risking Wilkinson. I like Timi, but not our player. Would like him, but no...

Re: Match Thread Barnet H

Edwards had a decent debut then spent a couple of games avoiding challenges and playing lots of simple passes. He's now getting on the ball a lot more and has upped his workrate massively. His performance in midfield at Ebbsfleet was as anonymous as anyone I can remember.

Is it a coincidence that we’ve picked up a lot of points since Walker has been out? Has it freed us up to press more and play with more pace??

Re: Match Thread Barnet H

Great result today. Not quite sure how Barnet are where they are in the league. They looked set up to snatch a point at best and looked incredibly limited. Maybe that was down to our hard work, but they really had nothing about them. Decent side from Doyle. Really strong back three and a nicely bala...

Love the bloke has been a breath of fresh air and can play! However we are getting younger and more flexible in our new look WFC. I think his days are numbered so enjoy him whilst you can! A little harsh on the future - but he's not a wing back IMO. If that's what Doyle wants, we are better going f...

We might need the positivity pedalo - overnight rain and it's been pouring down in Manchester since first thing with no sign of abating. COYC It’s not due to rain in Rochdale after about 11am Whilst the clue is in the name, I think he might have a better grasp on north west weather than you.
