Re: Is Loza staying or going?

Is it just goals that matter? If so, would you prefer Max in there ahead of Loza?

Re: Is Loza staying or going?

Agreed CC. Loza, IMO, is one of those players who if they did the right thing every time (considering their skill and pace), that wouldn’t be playing part time non league football. In a static side with no pace, their job is also made far more difficult.

Re: Is Loza staying or going?

How many assists? It’s not like someone like Hyde is going to set him up very often (or ever).

Re: Dowse interview - what a man

Why does he do so many interviews? Doesn’t he know it upsets Cardsharp? I think it’s completely selfish again by Dowse, not considering an oddball on this forum.

Re: Is Loza staying or going?

Like him but no end product so wouldnt be a disaster to move on Bit harsh. He’s the only player we had who tried to inject some pace into our attack. Now we potentially have two other players trying to do the same, it would be interesting to see how he does with out the opposition doubling up on hi...

I think this is aimed at me, but I’ve read it three times and have no idea what he means. Could someone translate? Sometimes I wish I didn’t pay attention at school, so I could speak Stu.

Re: Shaun Donnellan and Kane Ferdinand

Cook would surely be on the bench ahead of Collier (for quality) or Gerring (for mobility and versatility), If Donnellan keeps up yesterday’s level of performance - which was really good. Not wanting to put a dampener on things, but whilst he did really well, he was playing against a former club, wa...

Is it just me that thinks there was definitely more than 1,764 home fans there today?

I feel for both his and Cardsharp’s families. They’re going to have to spend time with them, because they won’t be able to spend their whole evening on here like they do when we lose.

Does anyone know if Stu is OK?

Stu’s normally posted fifteen times by this time after a loss. Is he ok?

Re: Match Thread V Yeovil

Worked hard. Didn’t have loads of the ball, but the pace of the lad from Luton meant we were often a threat on the break. Defence were all very good and Ferdinand/Poku put in a hell of a shift. Really enjoyed that.

Re: Matt Jarvis

There's two options here. A) Dowse doesn't know that an interview in a regional newspaper will have the faintest impact on a signing in regional football, or, B) Dowse has reason to believe that a late offer from another side, further away from Jarvis's family/where he came up in the game/where he'...

Re: Frustrating watching us fade away

I don’t think I’ve been to a Fans Forum since David Taylor mandated them (first time around) every few weeks and we consistently got told nothing that hadn’t already been announced. Massive waste of time IMO. That said, I think this latest suggestion is a bigger waste of time. There’s no way Stu, Ha...

Re: Frustrating watching us fade away

I’m guessing Harland has Stu’s grip of the club’s finances. Just because we get decent gates, these plumbs don’t realise that other clubs have far bigger budgets than us. Quite how a team with no money should be winning with style, I don’t know.

Re: Frustrating watching us fade away

i for one hope we have a new manager next season but realize we won't of course This is quite mental. Who would you suggest? Should we take on a rookie manager for his first role, because that’s not worked in the past? Who are the obvious candidates, who we could afford and who would have us punchi...

Re: Wrexham (A) Match Thread

As for the Loza incident it looked like he was clipped to me in the box but the referee saw differently. It was over the other side of the pitch to us so the ref was in a better position. It still seemed harsh to me. Talking to a Wrexham fan after the game, who was on that side opposite us, he said...

Re: Shaun Donnellan and Kane Ferdinand

I think the issue is balance in the midfield. Kane always looked at his best when he was the athlete alongside someone else who gets on the ball and makes things happen. With Donellan and Poku, he doesn’t have that. Donellan looks like he should be a big defensive shield for the defence, but it hasn...
