Re: Tylers opinion on how the season should finish

As long as three things happen, I’m ok with whatever the proposal is. We stay in this league, Stevenage are relegated and Liverpool are denied the league title. For the good of football, this needs to happen.

Re: Update for fans

They've won everygame for a reason. You thi k they are made up from players who live in Jersey? A lot of them do live in Jersey. Because our entire squad is made up of players who live in Woking... Did you complain when our directors were topping up our budget? Are you new here? KE complained that ...

Naturally Stu will back up his claim shortly with references to where he was sold a lie, why it’s incorrect and it’ll be completely clear to all of us. It’s just not like him to either not understand or to post complete rubbish.

Re: WFCTV - Content Suggestions

Another thing that will need to wait until it’s safe, but we should add a Phoenix from the Flames section, where selected Woking fans recreate classic goals from the past, ideally with an interview with the goal scorer. Love this idea! I’m offering to be one of the West Brom defenders as a Timmy Bu...

Re: WFCTV - Content Suggestions

Might be impossible, but is there any chance of uploading some older content? There used to be a non league portal (when cockerill was manager) that showed just goals rather than highlights. If you were able to get access to that and have it in the Woking FC channel, it would be great to have some o...

Went for a walk, had a wash, had lunch, had a sleep, went to get some shopping, started drinking and now cooking dinner. Will almost certainly be asleep about 15 minutes after the kids later.

Is that correct? Isn’t it Tom Davis? Also, I spent ages trying to get Nathan Koranteng. He must have played more than five times.

Bloke who got chucked out at FGR and went up the hill with the sheep to keep watching.
Tommy something. Played a few games for the supporters team, barely spoke a word and then did that. IIRC he’d cycled there too. Mental.

Re: National league suspended

God knows how we are going to pay wages etc until the league gets restarted... TBF, the club held back some of last season’s profits, so we are probably safer than most. As I understand it, that was meant to assist in the two seasons when we were playing away from Kingfield, but it might be needed ...

Re: Your Top 5 Woking Moments

West Brom (I’d go with Buzaglo’s third goal)
Nuneaton (3-2, after being 2-1 down)
Andy Burgess Vs WSM
Telford under Cockerill (when Amos scored)
Yeovil in the cup when Friel volleyed in the third.

Heard a rumour that the owner of Barnet has just wound up the club.

Hope it's just chatter.
Let’s hope not. Ignoring the problems it would mean for the club’s employees, the bloke from the videos might need to look for a new club and that means he might spend more time on here.

Re: Statement from Woking Football Club

Not sure if it’s feasible in terms of admin, but I pay the club a set amount each month which Jan kindly invoices next season’s season ticket/shareholder contributions from. It means the club gets my money up front and also saves me having to go without stuff when the relevant costs come in. If othe...

Re: Woking fans – support our new stadium regeneration

What’s the average wage? How many people buy a place on their own these days (my two properties were both purchased between two people)? If two people are earning £30K (I assume the average in Surrey is higher btw), then some of these properties come into play if you’re talking x5 the salaries.

Re: Woking fans – support our new stadium regeneration

To echo the post above - I would seriously question anything being put out by SWAG at present. They’re quite good at quoting stuff out of context as fact, when quite often the opposite is often what’s going on. They also don’t like being challenged on the rubbish they’re spouting and can become abus...

17th March IIRC.

I’d urge any Woking fans to write in support to their local councillor, especially if they are on the committee who will be making the decision.

It needs to be a football ground for a football club. A huge point being massively neglected.

Look at Halifax rattling about in a ground designed for the Halifax Blue Sox rugby team
Who do you think it’s been designed for then?

I’m pretty sure Mingie is a member of SWAG. When I last saw him another passer by shouted “SWAnGer” of something similar, which I guess is a reference to his stance against high rise flats in south Woking.

Re: Woking fans – support our new stadium regeneration

You wont be so happy if we're the minor party in this relationship and the tenant in what used to be our own ground. I’d be far happier in that scenario than having no club or watching AFC Woking play at Westfield. Has anyone told you that there will be a rugby club sharing? If so, has someone told...
