Wembley was built for, and named after the British Empire Exhibition of 1924/25. The stadium was due to be demolished immediately afterwards. I don’t think they actually officially changed the name, it just had less relevance over the years.

There have been mentions recently that Browne may re-appear soon, he’s turned up recently in his training gear in group shots of the team. Cue for him during our last couple of games ripping it up with Liam Enver-Marum style “contract form” 🔥 🔥 🔥 and another two year deal.
