Only 8 weeks now until September.

Even our kids trans have started training as have the local men’s teams. Non contact of course.

Is September still possible? I’m thinking probably October...

Any chance of the proposal being scaled down and resubmitted or is any plan dead in the water for the forseeable future? It sounds unlikely to be honest. Today’s meeting with the FA has taken place. The main points are: Looking to start at steps 1-7 in September (if possible) All leagues to start at the same time No games to be played without spectators Looking to run FA Cup and FA Vase in full (if possible) Start subject to DCMS approval FA working...

When could/ should the new season start?

Last year it was 3rd August. That would be nine weeks away. That doesn’t seem possible right now. For the National League I can see training possibly in July, preseason games maybe in August and the new season starting in September. Behind closed doors until October maybe November? So hard to forese...
