Re: Loop Road

Thanks DB, got an idea what Kingfield Green is now. Not very clear from the maps, but your description clears it up. Seems a bit odd to me that would be an access route anyway.

Re: Loop Road

From Facebook:

But common land on the current access to the ground and on Kingfield Green stop any access
Anybody any idea what that means? That sounds like the clutching of straws.

Re: Ins & Outs

Wrong, teams regularly target the area behind Cook; the chance Chorley had that they should have scored on Sat came from a ball into the space behind Cook. Where Ross cleared it off the line, Gerring was filling the space behind but he didn't intercept the ball - he was the wrong side of it to be h...

Re: WFCTV | Sutton United 6 - 2 Woking | Match Highlights

Number 5: http://cardsboard.co.uk/pen.png This was Gerring and Diarra for most the first half to be honest. Watched in real time it's a shocker. Collier's high, Gerring's not really recovering, Diarra's high and not really recovering. Cook is so far out of position plugging a hole for Gerring and Di...

Re: WFCTV | Sutton United 6 - 2 Woking | Match Highlights

Howes got to it, his lack of commitment to it was a problem. Moved at the right time, got there with all of his body (not at stretch), seems to have misinterpreted the weight, only placed a single hand behind it without bracing the wrist. I've looked at it again, and agree on the wrist. That might ...

This thread hasn't gone down the avenue I expected! Me neither KN, me neither. But then again, statistically speaking, 1% of the population are psychopaths...! Statistically speaking, 82.51% of statistics are made up. I'll probably go through and snip this thread. I'll review when the empirical bec...

Re: WFCTV | Sutton United 6 - 2 Woking | Match Highlights

Card Sharp said he would spare Cook the flak: Dowse didn't! That first goal: it's over the wall and right into the corner. Would Ross have got to it? We'll never know. Poor Howes. By the fourth, his confidence is shot, but 10 goals in two games will do that to you. The rest looked woefully average ...

Re: WFCTV | Sutton United 6 - 2 Woking | Dowse Interview

If 5 or 6 going then should be:- Parry, Collier, Gerring, Max, Donellan, Howes I'd ship a few more but we have to be realistic. Given his role with the academy, I suspect that Max would be retained but on Non-Contract terms. I know that they weren't all his fault, but shipping 10 goals in 2 games m...

Re: Total Embarrassment

I thought the second goal was a combination of Gray and Cook not doing their job properly. Hodges lined up as our left sided attacker and the cross came from the right wing back position. Unless I'm mistaking it for the third? The alcohol is starting to kick in and the memory is getting thankfully ...

Re: Match Thread Sutton (A)

4 centre backs and a defensive mid we've conceded 4 in thirty mins. Howes may be piss poor, but defensively that's ridiculous. I imagine we can’t keep the ball at all with that lineup too. Appreciate we don’t have many other options in the squad, but that’s pretty poor planning IMO. No we can’t kee...

No, I’m not saying that but I am disagreeing with you on the chain and timing of events on a Saturday. This Saturday: 1) Disagreeable but typical and clean opinion about game 2) Somebody responds with name calling - almost straight away 3) It gets heated 4) A conspiracy theory is spun on the escalat...

Re: Most gutless display of the decade

Behind on the KRE, don’t have Ross down to blame for the second. Very, very slow recovery from another corner where we cheaply lost possession left us out numbered for a bit. Comedy defending, then blasted on Ross unsighted - he was in the right place, doing the right thing.

Complaints have been received about the sniping. People are welcome to an opinion, free to discuss it and should be able to do so without it resulting in a personal or Ad Hominem attack (see below). I'd be grateful if we could tone down the cliquey, keyboard warrior sniping or I'll start issuing som...
