Re: WFCTV | Woking vs Wealdstone | #WokingRewind

It really was woeful. I was so pissed off I didn’t really celebrate Moussa’s goal as the way we were playing made it feel like a mere consolation. Ferdinand really changed the momentum though. And Hodges. Fortunately i could go to the games at the back end of the season, well I say fortunately as w...

Re: Your Top 5 Woking Moments

1-West Brom
2-Everton
3-Kidderminster FA Trophy
4-Coventry
5-Ferguson goal against Stevenage

So many more. Wealdstone, Maidenhead, and of course Runcorn as my first trip to Wembley for Woking....but awful weather and lack of Runcorn fans. Dagenham too...

Some of the comments above are a little personal and below the belt. Come on Woking fans - we are better than this. There’s enough in the content to rip to pieces without being harsh about the man.
Yes, you are never below the belt with Stu... oh wait.

Re: Games on Saturday

sorry but anyone notice that 75000 people have been at Cheltenham all week. Given that this virus can be killed by alcohol I think both them and Woking fans will be fine. I'm pleased as punch the game is on tomorrow. COYC... If Cheltenham was on next week it would likely be cancelled. It is a fluid...

Re: Games on Saturday

Hmmmmmm really not sure on this. I mean other football and sporting events are cancelled so why not ours ? Will the club ensure that there is actually soap to wash your hands or sanitiser. We have no hot water even in the club toilets and LGS If I was the club I would also be saying- if you are fee...

Re: Covid 19 - the effects on WFC?

Just to let people know that we will put an announcement on the website tomorrow about Saturday's game. This is so we can allow things to become clear after todays COBRA meetings and once we have taken advice from the FA/ National League. As things stand at the moment the game is going ahead as nor...

Re: Jack Cook

So, to sum up, our defence is good. Yet we have conceded more goals than any other top half team? Look, this is not a criticism, we are a part time team, poor old little Woking and all that. Ross has had a good season. Cook deserves player of the season for me, not based on performance for the whole...

Re: Match Day Thread. Home Vs Barnet 10/3/20

Shame but there we go. As many have said, it shows that part time just won't cut it. Getting to the play offs this year is still achievable, but do the club actually want that at this point?

Disappointing crowd too, and I guess the weather played a part but the club will be disappointed

And people here had a go at me when I suggested Meite would be better than Wall. Plenty of time for Wall to prove me wrong of course.

So far, so good. A play off push is not out of the question. Our home games are all winnable, the away games less so-all on paper of course.

Re: Matt Jarvis

Jesus... Sunbrow, Cardsharp, Stuwfc and now wokingsteve. What enjoyment do these people get out of supporting a club like Woking? Quite a lot actually. Yesterday I enjoyed the fact we got 3 points. I enjoyed the quality of Matt Jarvis and that subs were not made too late. I enjoyed the pie. Sure th...

Re: Matt Jarvis

Hope he’s on a pay as u play contract ! His groin is fucked ! It’s a huge gamble if we actually see him play at all ! Clive was fit and had players like steel and Shane wye to play off . We've got wall and Ferdinand now ! Come on Stu, the main risk is to Matt. This is good news, although personally...

Re: Matt Jarvis

Maybe Jarvis is the kind of player that can turn around the relegation form we've been showing for the last 25 games... 8 points out of the last 30 available that’s truly shocking. If it wasn’t for August we’d be in serious trouble now But we did have August! Fortunately. We really do need to beat ...

Woking ham? One can hope.
