Given it was only for 2 minutes - Casey for anyone would have been sensible. Just to organise and waste a bit of time. Maybe for Luker or someone who had been booked

Doyle should take the blame. Delap was tired and cramping up during the second half, he should have subbed him and brought on Casey.

Kelly Evans played very well in midfield. I’d like him signed up for next season for the amount of positions he can cover!

You can make an argument for wanting to keep the majority of the defensive line based on those stats.

One swallow making a summer and all that.

He was very active in the dugout which I think shows how much Doyle values him - don’t think any of the other injured players have been on the touch line for games.

Football is much better than under DS. I also like the signings - younger players, better for the club and I’d rather see us miss with a young player than signing another Greg Taylor. Edwards - quality DKE - good solid player Dyche - brilliant Luker - fantastic Kendall - promising Walker - potential

The 10K was probably to fund part of his wages, rather than a lump sum signing on fee.

Given the wages we are probably paying now, I wouldn’t say that’s much either.

We must have players on close to 2K a week now (Amond, Browne, Ince, Robinson).
