I think that a lot of the loss of connection between fans and players was because the previous manager didn't encourage it - both in the lounge and in the ground. Players would get on the coach, when away, in the compound so people travelling on the supporters coach didn't have the chance to interac...

It seems to me that the first decision has to be on the manager as I suspect that he may have come in on a contract just for the season gone. You have been great over the years and it is good that you will have extra time with the family but also be at matches as and when.

The league do not insist on segregation but it is down to the safety officer and the Safety Advisory Group who call the decisions on this and it may well be that the club are looking at what the options are.
