He says “thanks very much Nick” and could you stick a few ‘Effs’ into the linesman for him today 😂.
Would gladly love to but the boiler broke down again. No not the wife. The heating one!

Re: Weather Forecast

Nah, been marking and working on our local park pitch and it’s bang on at the moment. The summers been so dry (if not sunny) it’s draining through nicely leaving the top soft and underneath firm. If you dig a few inches down it’s still bone dry. Slow and steady rain is perfect. Proper slide tackle s...

Does anyone else remember him looking extremely good on his debut?
No, but I do remember him always stood to one side away from the main hub of players, normally alone when I saw him about.

It’s Dowse’s least favourite media feed. On Twitter.

“Not good enough tonight, players take full responsibility - we didn’t compete, apologies to the fans that travelled all that way @wokingfc”

When Josh says it, it actually comes across as sincere.

Re: WFC TV | Yeovil Town 3 - 1 Woking | Interviews

I hear what you say Meerkat but there comes a point when players have to take responsibility for what goes on around them in the now. It doesn’t matter how a manager sets up a team if the players don’t react or compete to what’s going on around them at that time on the pitch. A manager can set out t...

Re: Minor Drink-Fuelled Rant now hung over

I don’t do negativity for the people on the pitch (unless it’s directed at the officials or opposition). I may bemoan why we didn’t take our chances or let in a howler in the debrief in the pub afterwards, but all the time the game is on then I’ll never be negative towards our team. What’s the point...

The draw has got Kingstonian or Hampton and Richmond for Dowse written all over it.

If you haven’t heard it yet, Dowse’s interview last night is spot on. “We beat ourselves, gave away sloppy goals, didn’t finish it off, had the chances, players went missing” (not verbatim). It’s where they go from here and he is well aware that history has a habit of repeating itself. Christ, let’s...

Re: Today at Bromley

If licensing is the issue, that makes sense. I admit it's not an area I know much about! But I do disagree with those saying this is an issue to do with the safety officer or safety certificate- when that can't be the case. As you say, the safety officer and licensing officer are entirely separate ...

Re: Today at Bromley

As pointed out many times before, Woking FC comes under the jurisdiction of Surrey County Council. The licensing officer for SCC and WBC do not control the other grounds, only ours. If they say we can only have a bar in a 7ft by 2ft portable urinal that that is the only thing we would be allowed. Th...

I don’t know what you mean. Every foul on JC is clearly them so desperate to get the ball off him they shove him in the back. I hope you aren’t suggesting that’s a deliberate ploy.

Nico stated the bottle bar is dead in the water as the Safety Officer AND Licensing have said no.
The club is as gutted as we are as they know it would be a winner to boost the income.
