Re: Stockport (H) Match Thread

You misunderstand - I'm not talking about the tackle itself. Yes, it was a little rash but these things happen in football; sometimes that's just the way it goes. No blame whatsoever on Ben Gerring, in my opinion also. What I'm talking about is the laughing and clapping of some fans when it could h...

Re: Stockport (H) Match Thread

I quite like Dempsey. Like Rae earlier in the season, he doesn’t set up Hollywood balls or dance like a ballerina with the ball tied to his foot, he grafts and runs putting players under pressure, covers the CB and makes himself available by supporting the strikers. It’s no surprise that when we hav...

Re: Stockport (H) Match Thread

Gerrings perfectly timed tackle (😂😂😂) can be found here - https://twitter.com/EllieB3627/status/1231277642650914816?s=19 Thanks for posting. Tough challenge, and that’s football sometimes - sure. That being said, let’s show a little dignity and class here; I might suggest that that “tackle” is not ...

Re: A good point,well earned

Still going strong in Nottingham...... we took a neutral up with us today and he genuinely could not differentiate between the ex league side and the part timers who barely train twice a week. The stewards shook our hands on the way out and thanked us for the great atmosphere and fun we had in appa...

The only wind related cancellations would be on risk of serious danger to the stadium/local area or potential danger to fans at the stadium.

Re: Wall-the complete player

He took a few free kicks on Saturday and although they were off target, should one be between the sticks it’ll take anyone near it in with it. Ferocious power was the best description.
Personally I’m not sure on him yet but certainly think he would work well with Tarpey alongside him

Re: Jayden Wareham

Different sort of player.
For 16 he is not shy to mix it with the centre backs and has good movement and finishing. Early days yet and no point getting carried away. Let the lad learn what he needs to without the pressure of expectation. He could do really well and I hope he does.

Re: Ben Dempsey joins on loan

better not take Poku's place At the rate he's collecting yellows he might have to I think that’s because he’s the only on that tackles, rash at times but still tackles. Better that than a backwards/sidewise pass with no tracking or commitment. We are trying to win games not worry about cards and ge...

I was not the one who said he played yesterday.
Did I say he played ? Did anyone name him in the line ups ? Be careful in that wind. It’s really quite strong.

Re: Hanworth Villa away on Saturday

Actually I think Meite scored today........ well that’s what the shirt said Good....I like Meite. Works hard. Scored goals...usually when we lose... Well that cleared that up quick. Meite wasn’t there, has gone back to Crawley and shows you know the thin edge of f’all. Like I said before Card Sharp...

Dowse’s last stand

https://www.cherrytrees.org.uk/40-days-and-long-nights-of-no-drinking-for-cherry-trees Morning all. So far Dowse has managed to avoid temptation and stick to dry January even extending it further for another 7 days. I never thought he would do it but fair play to him and this is the last push to get...

What??? Are you saying the Fylde team has gone on a mass dogging outing at Ranmore Common?
Holy moley..... the Dorking Cocks won’t be happy about that one.

That is their nickname isn’t it named after the massive cock on the roundabout?

Re: Hanworth Villa away on Saturday

No they don’t. I moved from there years ago and never looked back. I was so embarrassed to say I lived there I called it West Weybridge or South Chertsey. Shits really hit the fan to class it as that!
Still, never a dull night in the HolyTree. Is the railway tavern still there?

Re: Fans Forum

Having spoken to Dowse yesterday morning he is a very well informed man with what’s going on around the league. He is doing his homework on every club to see what they do and we don’t to make us better. This includes what we do that’s different and can be improved or proven to be unnecessary, so it’...

Re: Mole catcher

It’s not the cat, kitten or Adam. I can vouch for all three of them as not being present when a subject was brought up and subsequently quoted by Insider.
Many others were though.

Perhaps it’s Dowse’s own subterfuge account..... who knows?
