Score predictions anyone?

A tough encounter I’d imagine, might just go down to the wire.
We’ve been terrible at home recently, even losing to Gloucester.

Re: Update for fans

Nice to see the owners of bankrolled projects like south Shields and jersey Bulls are having a good cry about it Unlucky Little bit harsh on Jersey though given they’ve won every game this season. They’re hardly bankrolled in the sense South Shields are. Just sponsors paying for travel to/from the ...

Re: Steps 5 and 6 to end immediately

"As Barrow are currently four points clear of Harrogate at the top of the table, with nine games remaining, one possible option would be to scrap the play-offs completely, promote the Cumbrians as "champions" and allow Stevenage to remain in League Two." No thank you. Surely a more sensible option ...

Re: Paul Hodges Whinging Timeline

Playing a contact sport like football is very different to kids taking exams in a controlled situation. The NEU weren't consulted before the decision to bin GCSEs and A-Levels was made which seems really odd. Bit harsh on Hodgey. They had no option but to cancel exams given pupils are likely to mis...

1. West Brom 2. The Great Nuneaton FA Cup Robbery 1992 - 2 goals in injury time 3. 1994 trophy run-in (away at Billingham, semi replay at Adams Park then of course winning at Wembley) 4. Re: National league suspended

Just sack off the Trophy/Vase/FA Cup for next season.

Finish the remaining 8 games of this season upon resumption (as long as it’s before September, say) and go straight in to the next one after.

Can we really afford to lose 4 matches worth of income?

Re: Statement from Woking Football Club

People are commuting, going to work, going shopping, kids are going to school, why the hell should footballers (especially full-timers) be a protected species? If someone comes round to your house to change your light bulbs and you think you should be protected further still you're not at risk of a...

Re: Statement from Woking Football Club

Some of our own players expressed concern and surprise that the fixtures were going ahead. This isn't something that has come out of the blue. Casey, Hodges and Loza (Amongst others) whinging and moaning that they’re being forced to play football despite being far more likely to catch it in their n...

Re: Statement from Woking Football Club

I want the best for our club. However, this statement is really terrible. It's obvious to everyone why the game was postponed - there's a pandemic. The national league bottled the decision this weekend to postpone games. The financial disruption to our club is unfortunate. But what is more importan...

How’s the players playing football any different from us going in to an office environment with 500 people? Plus travelling to work on public transport?

Casey’s office is still open yet he thinks we should play football?

Re: Jack Cook

So, to sum up, our defence is good. Yet we have conceded more goals than any other top half team? Look, this is not a criticism, we are a part time team, poor old little Woking and all that. Ross has had a good season. Cook deserves player of the season for me, not based on performance for the whol...

Re: Covid 19 - the effects on WFC?

If they cancel National League matches for a month, surely the season couldn't finish and therefore the season would end up null and void? As a lot of part time teams only pay their players up until end of April, it probably wouldnt be feasible to finish the season in May/June. And if they don't fin...

Re: Match Day Thread. Home Vs Barnet 10/3/20

Big up to the stupid old git in the KRE that shouted 'SHOOT' every time we got within 25 yards of goal, but after the one time a shot was taken, then proceeded to shout 'why can't you keep the bloody ball Woking?' Words fail me sometimes. People overrate the ease at which players can dig out a shot...

Re: Match Day Thread. Home Vs Barnet 10/3/20

I love Tarpey but surely he’s due a benching for a couple of games? Hard game to judge, Barnet were just the far more clinical team. Definitely see them making the playoffs. Yep - he was poor again tonight. Looking like Loza and Jarvis starting on Saturday. Probably need to win the next two if we’v...

I don't think some mouthy kids will put many off to be honest. If we are in the play off positions an considering it's a sat 3pm kick off I wouldn't be surprised to see anything from 600 - 1k away fans. Only thing I can see effecting attendances is if people start panicking about Coronavirus and bi...
