Re: Matt Jarvis signs a new deal

Great news! Hopefully come the start of the season he is in good physical condition! already stated in his interview - injury free, still has his pace, been training hard. He knows better than anyone what it takes to perform. He's going to tear the NL up. (one hopes) now to find a target man... Bre...

Re: Dowse's Friday Catch-Up | 10/07/2020

Any perceived lack in ability that Ref Josh has (personally I don't think he lacks ability at Nat con level one bit) he makes up in spades with his game management. Key player, vital to the team and such a miss when he's not there. Max is another - play him in position when fit and he's an excellent...

Re: Dowse's Friday Catch-Up | 03/07/2020

I can understand his attitude. If we did have the smallest budget in the league, then finishing 10th is a fantastic achievement. It's probably not great to hear "Thanks, now can you do the same again" for the next 3 years, with us never able to offer them enough to challenge for the playoffs or hig...

Re: The Way Ahead with Social Distancing?

The FA consultation document that came out the other week was talking of reducing capacity to 30% of the ground capacity. This would roughly mean Kingfield being limited to around 2,000 which should be fine for social distancing for most. Our true regular support is probably between 1,500 and 2,000...

Re: Financial Controller opportunity

Just a comment here, why is it assumed that the club paid for lawyers during the development process? It might have been that the lawyer appointed to act on behalf of the board was not paid for by the club? It is correct that your volunteer board members spent many hours to try and move the club fo...

Re: Stevenage relegated

Macc certainly should have been punished for consistently breaking the rules. Six times as pointed out above? Deferred points deduction? Totally unfair, they should have been deducted from this seasons total. The FL's handling of this reeks incompetence and in normal circumstances I'd be shouting fo...

What next ? no plan b by the sounds of it which is slightly worrying.

to be fair to Bobbo - he didn't manage to get the words good and Stevenage into the same sentence. Not an easy thing to do, google normally chucks that back at you as a grammatical error.

Mr O any news on the ignore post option.
