Re: Dorking

Whilst I respect his and the club's achievements I don't understand how he and the club - particularly the other people in the club that hold any sway, if there are any (maybe the new CEO?) - can let interviews like that go out. They are unprofessional, set a terrible example, and, as a local it is ...

Re: Westfield Avenue 'compound' planning application

I believe they may originally have been thatched, before the corrugated iron went on. They'll probably become listed buildings soon as they are of such historic interest, then we won't be able to do a thing with them.

Re: Do you enjoy football?

They just want the release of being able to yell/mutter abuse at someone without getting sacked/divorced. I think that may be me! This is such a difficult one to answer for me. Most games I have been to, since getting addicted in Garry Hill's time, I ultimately haven't enjoyed, but I have kept on g...

Agreed NP, he’s instilled a bit of...fitness..
Which is strange, as I thought the last regime was supposed to be all about, "intensity" and working players harder than they would have been used to previously, but Michael Doyle's various coments about improving fitness would suggest otherwise.

Re: Match Thread Barnet H

Not quite sure how Barnet are where they are in the league. They looked set up to snatch a point at best and looked incredibly limited. This was the only negative today for me. It really showed what a lost opportunity this season has been. It was actually a very good season to have as the third sea...

BTW Maguire Drew was brave walking past moaners. Couldn't quite hear what was said but noticed a few were not gonna let him go past quietly!
Good work from John Katz in the programme, welcoming "former Card Nicke Kabamba"!

Just like a Shetland pony, I am a little hoarse after that. I had given up hope of us staying up a few weeks ago, and of enjoying watching us, but that was brilliant. A superb performance and well done to all those involved in the goal. I love football.

I really can't see Dorking Wanderers getting many more points. I don't think they're currently quite good enough for this division.

We are actively pursuing goalscorer!...

...according to John's programme notes today (and Mr Grego Cox is expected back in the side before the end of March - no tittering at the back).

Never mind the statistics, we've been better to watch recently and are on an upward curve. We'll easily stay up, so I'm just going to relax and enjoy the run in. It's going to be fun.

With a chap with that kind of schooling at the helm I would expect an immediate bounce back to the PL for the Saints - and a couple of decent loanees for us.

Lopata to Barnsley finally officially confirmed. Four year deal too, fair play to him.
Huge respect for Darren Sarll in his interview. Glad he enjoyed his time at Woking. Wish him well and will watch his future career with interest.

A former loanee (Matt Robinson) has received a nomination for Best Grime Act at the MOBO Awards. Surely that can't have happened more than a handful of times previously in our club's proud history?

Eek! I am sure there must be plenty of players we have never heard of who could do a great job for us and become future Woking FC legends.

Jayden Wareham looks like he's had an enjoyable first year with Chelsea's development squad - finished as their second top G+A for the year. And top goalscorer, I see, which being old I would give more weight to than goals and assists - although I don't know how many minutes they all played. What is...
