Re: Updated run ins

What is your default response to a positive performance? oh yeah, you don't have one, do you? I have never declared us 100% safe, thanks for taking an interest though :) I posted plenty of positives things after Dagenham and Bromley. Post history is available in case you want to check. Or you could...

Re: Updated run ins

you seem to be almost enjoying this. Why would I enjoy a piss poor performance at York after driving for 9 hours? Why would I enjoy potentially having to spend another season in the Pub League South? Is that your default response to any criticism of a poor performance? Or are you annoyed you declar...

Re: Updated run ins

The idea that a win on Saturday guarantees safety gives me almost no confidence whatsoever. Just a repeat of the Dover game. Yep. The players' arseholes went at trying to play for a draw at York on Saturday. And when passing it around for 7 minutes of injury time when behind against Aldershot back ...

Re: Match Thread York City A

Dog shit performance today. Edwards had the worst game I’ve seen from him. Was he treating it as a joke cos his weird coked up friends in the front row were there? Akinola is not a good central midfielder. Kendall might score a maximum of one goal a month if we’re lucky. Did we not realise chipping...

Truly embarrassing for our budget that we're still playing Akinola - a defender - in midfield.
Surely we are beyond this budget thing now, it doesn't matter how big it is if it's wasted.

Re: Updated run ins

We achieved our safety at York last season be good if you can as well. When they beat us not long ago they celebrated like they had survived. Would be funny now to see them get relegated they do seem very much above their station, they have sold over 7k tickets for tomorrow so should be a good atmo...

Re: Updated DOYLERSTATS

What is it about MD that makes you feel 'unsure'? We've had some luck. It isn't like he's suddenly turned us into a great team, despite being able to bring in quite a few players (including paying fees - he really has had massive backing from the owners). Some of the games under him (Solihull/Ebbsf...

Re: Updated DOYLERSTATS

MD has proved to the knee jerkers he does have something about him, it was a massive risk, but seems to have paid off (fingers crossed) this season and we go into the next one with hope, recruitment is key (as it always is) I am quite excite, although I was very positive at the start of this season...

Boreham Wood have just announced their manager Luke Garrard will leave at the end of the season after a “disastrous season.”
might be too late by then (hopefully) I wonder if he was ever on our "list" I have to admit I would have quite liked him at the time, not so much now though!

Really annoyed with that result.
How on earth can we beat Barnet and lose to Eastleigh?
How many goals did Sol ever score for us?'
If we lose at Bromley (likely in any season) we will really be in the mire.
We have been in worse.

Really? That's strange we can't announce him, the window is shut now isn't it?
A loan player signed eight minutes before the deadline according to the information in the programme.
It's strange we didn't just announce him then.

Re: Match Thread Eastleigh H

It was kind of us to get into the seasonal spirit by picking a keeper who can't deal with crosses, but also disappointing because literally the only thing Will had to do today was punch away a few dangerous balls into the box (credit to Eastleigh by the way, they were quality deliveries). Sadly Lor...

Re: Why can't we score?

Quite simply we haven't got that 15+ goal a season player. Or 2 or 3 not to be greedy. Just look at what all the top sides have. Ald are shit without there 3 +Daly, Moors have Campbell,Kabamaba, stead and o'donker for Barnet.Mcallum, Efiong, the list goes on and thats without Chesterfield. Pavey is ...

Re: Why can't we score?

We have a new signing available for Monday and to be announced soon according to John Katz's programme notes today. I don’t know what position they play but hopefully whoever they are, if not a keeper, they have some goal scoring ability. I'd like three more points quickly. Really? That's strange w...

Our top scorers (Scoreboa and Grego-Cox) have 6 league goals this season.

Finishing the season with our top scorer having a few as 6 goals must be a club 'record'?
lets hope Kendall finishes on 10 or more!!
