So we sign players on loan and then loan them out to other clubs. Are we loaning them out for more than we paying and making a profit? ...I hope we not making a loss. Didn't the same happen with Joe Felix ? and he was a right back I think.....just the position we need
He's not on loan.

Re: Glen Tamplin

Good luck to them I say, they haven't had much to cheer for a while and Romford is a shit hole, so I am sure it will be fun while it lasts! Plus old sniffy is letting everyone in for free this weekend and given them all a drink, so I imagine it will be a record crowd of winos, homeless people and "g...

To be fair he is a knob, but he did invest a lot into Billericay, I am sure the Romford fans are just glad to have a club to watch.

Re: Sliding Doors Moments

Plus Chelsea were already in the Champions League before Abramovich came along. Before this season Spurs were seen as the best thing since sliced bread since Pochettino came along and Chelsea always “in crisis”. Yet Chelsea win a trophy every season and Spurs win nothing. And both are owned by bill...

Re: Match Thread A vs Stockport Co.

Aren’t the official goal scoring stats done by the National League rather than a player deciding he wants the goal? It’s down everywhere as Hyde 2 and Tarpey 1. Hyde can claim it but it will never actually count as his goal. At least he’s back scoring again though. Important to keep him fit seeing ...

https://www.wokingfc.co.uk/news/article/6836/glen-rea-joins-on-loan/ 46 games and captain in League 2 for a title-winning Luton side in 17/18, 22 games in League 1 last season before a big injury. Have to say on paper this looks a bloody brilliant signing. But he has never played under Dowse or for...

Re: Cup half full?

I'm just putting it out there, but is it possible that getting knocked out of the FA Cup might be a good thing? The last two years have seen us ave good cup runs which have coincided with us losing our way in the league. One of those instances ended up in us getting relegated and the other culminat...

Re: £2 cup of tea at Kingfield (rip off)

We might have a private caterer, but there is no sense in overpricing hot drinks, they will just sell less. A cup of tea is around 1/4 of a pint, so equivalent to paying £8 for a pint of beer in the club house. Ebbsfleet charged £1.20 for a cup yesterday! Do Woking FC have any role in the price set...

Maybe he had a couple of good games against the "big boys" most players at NL level have the ability, it's all about having the dedication to step up.
